Each workshop starts with a short session of relaxation techniques (to help take the stress out of working with computers!). The sessions are structured, but informal. Learn how to use the best automatic features, but turn off the ones that hinder you! Workshop 3 Word processing with Microsoft Word: Part II - printing and templates The mysteries of printing explained! How to turn your letters and other standard documents into templates that you can use over and over again. Workshop 4 Introduction to Spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Throw away your calculator! Learn how to do simple calculations with a spreadsheet, and get a glimpse of how you can use this powerful tool at work and at home Workshop 5 Manage your E-mail and Contacts using Microsoft Outlook Express Go with the flow! Connect quickly and cheaply to family, friends and businesses all over the world. Find out how to send e-mail and keep track of your contacts. Workshop 6 Surf the Internet using Internet Explorer What's it all about? Why is everybody talking about it? Don't miss out! It's easy once you know how. Learn how to access a whole new world of valuable information at the click of your mouse! At the end of each Workshop's demonstration you will be given an opportunity to practise what you have learnt. We will also provide a crib sheet for you to take home.
